Düsseldorf . Deutschland Reconditioning
(Re-coating) of Worn Peeling Segments Mechanically
working peeling machines are provided with peeling segments
coated with carborundum granulation. These peeling segments
can consist of peeling plates, lateral segments or of
peeling rollers. Our
specialists for re-coating have many years of experience, as
far as the reconditioning of such peeling segments is
concerned. First
the old coating is thoroughly removed. The subsequent
re-coating is not carried out by means of conventional
two-component glues, but with a plastic-steel special
adhesive, particularly composed for our purposes, which
properly fixes the carborundum grains. The
re-coating can be carried out with various grain sizes. Big
grains on the peeling segments will bring about a coarse
peeling result, while smaller grains will result in a
smoother surface after peeling. The
peeling rollers of the DORNOW roller peeling machines can be
coated with a very fine graining. We call this peeling
method "micro fine grain peeling". Thus, it is
possible to achieve a peeling result "as smooth as
glass". Moreover
it is possible to coat the peeling rollers of the roller
peeling machines in such a way that the carborundum
granulation is put on "in steps", i.e. the first
meter of the peeling roller is coated with coarse graining,
the second meter with a medium-fine and the last section
with a very fine graining. Our
specialists will gladly give advice to the customers to
find, together with them, optimal solutions by means of
which the required surface structure of the goods to be
peeled can be achieved. Another
special service of our firm: at request, our specialists
instruct the personnel of our customers, who work with our
machines, in the "art" of re-coating peeling
segments. The instruction takes place either at our workshop
or on the premises of the customer. Please ask for the
commercial conditions! The
"plastic-steel special glue" and the various types
of carborundum granulation can be bought over our firm. This
