47. Onions, size 40-50 and 50-60, extremities to be cut, then to be peeled
(onions from Great Britain, September)
First leaves and roots can be cut with top and tail cutting machines (see:
D.-15.11).
Especially for these sizes a specific machine can be delivered, to be charged with onions of the size 40-60.
Afterwards the onions were peeled with our machines 20Z (larger ones available as
35Z)

Machine 20Z, onions 50-60, waste 28 % = all of them are clean

Machine 20Z, onions 50-60, waste 20 % = 103 onions good, 6: To be peeled again

The peeling time is adjustable, resulting in a high degree of cleanliness of the peeled product.
Important: Onions which are not sufficiently peeled can be separated and can be peeled again.
Therefore only a few number of staff members necessary!
- The machines work without water/waste water.
Also other products can be peeled with these machines.
They are quasi universal peeling machines.
